What is Profhilo?

Profhilo is an innovating anti-aging moisturising treatment that works underneath the skin.  This treatment is uniquely formulated and sustained, hyaluronic acid injections for treating skin laxity.   It contains the highest, and purest, concentrations of hyaluronic acid, without any chemical agents that works to improve the skin’s structure and keeps working weeks after the treatment. You’ll visibly see the results in your skin, where it’ll be firmer, with lines and wrinkles diminished, and your overall complexion looks and feels tighter.  This is one of the more natural anti ageing injectable out in the market.

Who’s the ideal Candidate for Profhilo?

How Profhilo works?

Once the product (hyaluronic acid) is injected into the 5 key points on both sides of the face, to ensure symmetrical rejuvenation.  The product specifically targets a 2cm radius of the injected site.  This will gradually absorb into this specific area. Once the absorption process has started, Profhilo® stimulates the production of four types of collagen and elastin.  Two treatments are needed, where the first dose of hyaluronic acid gradually activates collagen and elastin production, and the second does elevates the final outcome – to boost hydration, collagen rejuvenation and firmness from within.  The results achieved in the significant improvement of your tissue quality and skin tone.  Profhilo is not dermal filler; it does not change the shape of your face.

Treatment feel like?

Your skin will be cleansed and prepared before treatment.

Whilst the product is being injected you may experience a small amount of discomfort or stinging, but this clears quickly, and you leave the clinic pain free. As the treatment is injected just beneath the skin to target the correct skin cells, you will see and feel small lumps on the face after the treatment.  These lumps will subside usually within 4-6 hours after the treatment but they can last up to 24 hours. You may experience some tenderness for the first 24 – 72 hours.

How many treatments are required?

A single course of Profhilo involves 2 injectable treatments 4 weeks apart, after which you can expect to see an intense hydration. It makes the skin glow, fine lines can disappear and you’ll notice smoother, tighter skin. Profhilo generally lasts 6 months if 2 treatments are given one month apart. After the initial treatments, we recommend coming back to see us every 6-9 months. Then only one syringe is needed, as we will be simply topping up the skin’s hydration and glow.

Profhilo Results

While you may see an improvement immediately after the first treatment, with skin looking brighter and smoother.  The best results are visible around 4 weeks after the second treatment. After 8 weeks, this is when you’ll see the full power of Profhilo® with skin feeling rejuvenated, firmer and better laxity restored.
