What does Lip Filler Treatment feel like?

Client comfort is very important to us; we apply numbing cream on the injection sites to ensure treatment is pain free as possible.  The product is then administered using a small needle into the lip area with dermal filler.  This has been described to feel like a light scratch.  Each patient experience the lip filler treatment in different ways, a slight discomfort may be felt thought the treatment.

Once injected, the gel in the filler supports and shapes the tissues of the lips.

What to expect after getting lip fillers?

Immediately after a cosmetic injectable treatment, your lips (and mouth) may be numb. You may also experience some mild discomfort or fullness in the first few hours. Swelling and bruising are to be expected and should resolve within two weeks.

Dissolving fillers

Lip filler can be reversed using hyaluronidase, an injectable solution.  Hyaluronidase is injected directly into the area and it will start to regain natural shape. The process can continue for 24/48 hours after the reversal with the Hyaluronidase injected.  Minor and common effects include temporary bruising and swelling at the injection site.

When can I have new fillers?

You can have new filler put in but you should wait 14 days after your treatment as the hyaluronidase can break down the new dermal filler.
